Bianca Severijns

The Rhythm of Life collection by Dutch-Israeli contemporary paper artist Bianca Severijns includes vessels and wall reliefs especially chosen for this special version of Freshpaint 2020.  Each unique piece of art showcases Severijns’ distinct paper language of hand-torn pieces aesthetically arranged into intricate, complex and abstract compositions that create an extraordinary visual impact. Severijns’ artworks explore social and humanitarian themes. Among others, her works have been shown at the Venice Biennial 2019 and the first Craft and Design Biennial 2020 Tel Aviv.
